Last updated 29 September 2026

Pratar is an app for practising spoken Swedish: you speak, and it transcribes, corrects and explains what you said. This policy explains what data Pratar collects, why, who processes it on our behalf, and how you can delete it. Pratar doesn't show ads, doesn't sell your data and doesn't use your data to track you across other apps or websites.

Pratar is provided by KGW Software AB (“we”), which is responsible for your data. Contact: [email protected].

Who processes your data

We use these service providers, under their data processing terms, only to run Pratar:

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete any practice session in the app, which removes its recordings, transcripts and feedback, and its mistakes from your progress. When you delete your account, all your data is deleted within 30 days, except technical logs, which expire on their own after 30 days.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to a data protection authority. We process your data to provide the service you signed up for (contract) and to keep it secure (legitimate interest).

Children

Pratar isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
